Burned stoneware, glazed - 2017 The piece is made out of multiplied layers of clay immsersed into a thin textile. The motiv of a ghost represents someone which is there and at the same time also not there, and the symbolism ties into life as a situation of impermanence. In the burning process temperature reaches 11 celcius degrees, and different colors are mixed on the surface as a result of the crackled glaze. |
