Burned stoneware, glazed

The piece is made out of multiplied layers of clay immsersed into a thin textile. The motiv of a ghost represents someone which is there and at the same time also not there, and the symbolism ties into life as a situation of impermanence. In the hands of the ghost is placed a rock crystal found in Norway, which has changed colors through out the burning. In the burning process temperature reaches 1100 celcius degrees, and different colors are mixed on the surface as a result of the crackled glaze.
