India Ink on paper by Meydad Eliyah Eliyahu is an artist who not only has distinctive thoughts about humanity, but also a strong and powerful expression in his artwork. Perhaps this is emphasized by the fact that as an Israeli artist, he is used to facing societal challenges. When Eliyahu, together with the gallery, had to decide on the content of the exhibition, the choice fell on his Wandering theme; as the concept of “little but good” is apt for Meydad’s works. His spontaneous and very simple, almost calligraphic ink drawings stand tight and strong on the retina. Their vibrating sensuality and recognizable attitudes make the works captivating.
